I am a insulin-dependent diabetic. I can get into trouble when my BGL goes low. I know it is imperative that people in an emergency situation save time by knowing this fact. After all, I walk daily for several miles, and it is a very real possibility that something can go wrong and I could suffer a hypoglycemic event. Medical Identification necklaces and bracelets go along way towards helping to communicate the need to start treatment.
I'll be honest.... I do not like to wear bracelets, watches, necklaces and such! I'm more often as not likely to have left my wedding ring on my dresser. It is a very real concern to me that I have some sort of Medical Identification on me. This shoe tag, woven into my shoes is really an unobtrusive way to do so! I never forget to put it on, and anytime I have my shoes on, I'm covered! It is easy visible and obviously something that attracts the eyes of EMS Responders.
We have also provided these for parents and caregivers to place into the clothing and onto the shoes of persons that wander. Does your child wander away? Do you have to contend with the worry of an Alzheimer's Disorder patient wandering out of the home? We have provided these for Down's Children, and instead of the Caduceus, we placed cars and flowers on them. This way, the child tends to LIKE to wear it!

Look at the detail of our engraving.... This is the actual engraving on my tag. We can place all manner of information, and any picture we have. (We can also probably come up with a picture that you don't see here, but really want.) Please note that our tags are classically engraved. These are machined with a diamond tipped spinning rotary graver that actually removes metal from the item to a significant depth. This is NOT a surface burn, laser "etch", that wears off easily. This is classic jewelry-quality engraving.
Please note! The photos do not really show the bright, shiny aluminum or stainless engravings and make them look quite dingy. They are NOT! They are bright metallic in jewel-like tones. My shoe tag photographed above is a Stainless Steel Tag for durability. Dog tag shape available in the eight colors of anodized Aluminum or Stainless Steel. Luggage tags available only in the eight aluminum colors. (No SS available)
